- Remember, it is the artist's curse to only see the flaws in his/her work. Don't fret, you are the only one that can see them, no one else can. ~Spl1nt3rC3ll

Hints & Tips
- Tip 1 If you are looking for a snack, try to stay away from foods which are high in sugar, or have very little dietary value. Try a bagel with cream cheese, or a peanut butter sandwich. These choices are far better than a Little Debbie.

Hints & Tips
- When drilling into tiles, stick a piece of masking tape across the point you intend to drill. This reduces the risk of skidding and scratching the tile.
- When drilling to a specific depth, measure that depth on your drill-bit, and then wrap a piece of masking tap around the bit at that point. Stop drilling when the tape reaches the wall.
- Tie your chuck-key to your drill's power cable so that you don't lose it. About two feet from the plug-end allows you to use the key without untying it, but also reminds you to unplug the drill for safety.

Hints & Tips
- When learning a new instrument, take it slow and don't feel bad if you don't see instant results. Your body has to adapt to that new instrument; for example, you need to build up callouses on your fingertips for playing guitar, so initially your fingers will hurt. For trumpet, you need to build up your embouchure, or lip muscles, before you can play well. Practice a little bit every day, but don't overdo yourself.

Hints & Tips
- Tip 1 If you come home from a very wet sports match, find some newspaper, and stick newspaper in your sports equipment. If you have lacrosse pads, stick newspaper in them. Cleats? Stick newspaper in them. Newspaper soaks up the water extremely well.
- Tip 2 At a track meet when you're going to run a race it helps keep your shoes tied if you put duct tape or athletic tape on them. (I've noticed mine come undone waaaay too easily an the tape really helps)

- Tip 1 To easily print pictures of the exact size you need, insert the picture into a Word document page, resize or edit picture as needed, and print!
- Tip 2 You can get lots of electronic parts by desoldering but if you dont have desoldering wick or a desoldering iron or a soldering iron for that matter you can use a blowtorch and pliers, put you pcb in a vice grip. grip what you want with the pliers, torch the solder and pull you component off. do this in a well ventelated area beacuse smoking bcb smells bad. ~goeon

- A battery powered drill, with battery removed, can produce electricity when the motor is turned using some other means. Look for the electrodes that normally make contact with the battery inside the handle of the drill. It might take some tinkering to figure out the correct direction of rotation, as well as the positive and negative electrodes. If you plan on using longer term, you can solder alligator leads to the electrodes and have easy access to your DC voltage. The drill can produce up to its rated voltage (e.g., a 9.6v battery-powered drill can put out up to 9.6 volts), depending on how fast you turn the motor. Technically you can produce more, but that will heat up the motor and damage it.
- A Soldering Iron is one of the most important gadgets for Tech projects. It makes solid connections. If you don't know about them you can check out many of the great instructables showing how to do it. , Also, check out the pic. (It has the Iron, Dremel, and a sneak peak into my new project)
- One gadget that a lot of people over look for Tech projects is the Dremel. Dremels are surprisingly useful for resizing PCBs, getting to ridiculously sealed parts and making things ,smaller,.

Not Liable
For some reason, the not liable category on instructables.com has been removed...
since this was a favorite of many, i decided to revive it in this 'ible!
this will include dangerous things, and anything that could get you in trouble...
So, there are some things you need to take care of when making a not liable instuctable. You need to make it clear that you're not liable for any damage done by the product of your 'ible. This is important because you don't want people blaming (or even trying to sue) you for anything.
EX: "LIABLILITY- i am NOT liable for anything you do or anything that happens becuase of this instructable. If anything bad happens, it is YOUR FALT, NOT MINE!!!!"
Once you do that, you can continue making your dangerous, devious instructions! - all above by AnarchistAsian
