Installing Racheting Armrest Compenent for Honda Passport/Pilot/Ridgeline

The Sport models of the current gen models of the Honda Passport, Pilot and Ridgeline do not come standard with a ratcheting armrest. However, you can replace the static armrest bracket with a ratcheting bracket for the JJ Products aftermarket armrest product.
I bought the ratcheting extra wide armrest and needed to replace the attachment point (aka - bracket).
Ordered the part from Honda, arrived one day later... this was a 20 min job.
Supplies
Ratchet set (to remove the old armrest)
Handheld drill with torx bit
Unzip the Back "seam" of the Seat

You might need to pull the extended part of the zipper out from behind the lower plastic sheath
Remove the Armest to Expose the Static "UP & DOWN" Position Armrest Bracket

Once unzipped, remove the current armrest and pull the fabric cover over the exposed hardware - push towards the front of the seat. Dont worry, the fabric is form fitting and will slide back into place when you're finished
Look for the 2 Screw-holes Attaching the Static Bracket to the Seat Sub-frame

You can either push the foam material to side or pull it to the forward facing part of the seat like with the seat cover fabric/leather
Unscrew the 2 Screws

Be sure to keep these, the ratchet bracket does not come with replacement screws
Remove the Static Bracket

Attach the Ratchet Bracket

On the back of the ratchet bracket, there are plastic 2 placement guide-"rods". In the attached pic, see at top and bottom if the white plastic component.
The two guides are designed to match to corresponding holes/die-cuts so that the rachet bracket is oriented correctly. This is a nice fool-proof design feature.
Screw-on the Rachet Bracket

Screw-in the old screws from the static-bracket and pull the foam and seat material back onto its previous position.
Re-zip the back seam, tuck it back into the plastic sheathing and add the new ratcheting armrest using the instructions from the JJ Products.net
