Do you have any bicycle inner tubes just laying around? Well I did, and I decided to make a pretty cool looking flower planter for my mom. If you just follow the easy steps you can make your very own.

First take your old bike inner tube and scissors and make the first cut. The piece that i cut was about 14.5".

Then you probably want to wash/rinse out the inner tube, because there is some powder inside the tube.

Fold and Hold

So for the next part, fold your piece of tube like the picture so that it creates 3 sections, then where the 2 vertical tubes touch mark it with a pencil. Then use your scissors to poke a hole through the tube big enough for the bolt to fit through. Repeat this for the second tube, making sure the holes line up.

Now, just put the bolt in place.

+ H2O

Now all that you need to do is add some water to the vertical tubes and add the flowers, and presto, an inner tube flower planter.
