Infused Water

IMG_1586.jpeg

Drinking water is essential to good health, but sometimes you just want something refreshing with wholesome flavor. I’ve created this infused water using filtered water from our refrigerator, fresh sweet mint from our herb patch, and a locally grown cucumber. This is a flavorful, thrifty and healthy way to hydrate.

Fill Water Pitcher

Fill a pitcher with water. I’m fortunate to have a refrigerator that dispenses filtered water, but tap water works too.

Slice Cucumber

Slice your cucumber thinly. I used a nakiri knife, a Japanese-style vegetable knife that makes it easy to get those thin slices. Plus, it’s a pretty darn cute knife!

Add Cucumber to the Water

Every slice of cucumber into the pool!

Add Mint

Grab a handful of mint, and add it to the pitcher. Give it a little stir. I used my knife because I didn’t want to wash a spoon!

Refrigerate

Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Enjoy!
