Infrared Remote Control on Commode....watch It
This is a creativity project using discarded electrical, electronic components which are treated as waste. I have put in efforts to device a system which is of some use in our daily routine and save electricity as well ! The cost of this project is an absolute Zero as most of the components are extracted from waste junk.
The attached video is self explanatory on this creative project. This has been published on my You Tube channel danjunk-DIY registered with email ID: danraja@gmail.com with link : https://youtu.be/8SFMK6RZOcE
For this project, I have used a controller module of a defective refrigerator. This module comprises of three sub systems as under:
1. A Power supply : That converts 220 Volt Volt AC to 12 V and 5 Volt DC.
2. Two Relays, which are used to switch 220Volt/10A and AC 220 Volt/3 Amp Loads. The 10 Amp Relay function was probably to drive the Compressor unit of the Refrigerator. And the # Amp Relay was used fpr Fan , thermostat or other sub systems in the refrigerator.
3. An 8 Pin DIP IC was used as a Timer to control Compressor/Thermostat etc. This was found defective and not used in my project. The Power Relays were controlled by this Integrated circuit.
I have used only the Power Supply, and Relay switching systems. The Relay switching circuits were intact and I have used these in this project. The Project Video is self explanatory.
I have used only one Relay to switch a 220 Volt AC Exhaust Fan in a Toilet/Wash Room.
The Exhaust Fan is remotely switched on using an Infrared Remote control. For this I have used a Remote Control with a defective Keypad matrix. I have exploited only one pressure contact which was found working on this unit.
I have designed and fabricated a Gravity Switch to activate the remote control when it is tilted. The details of working and concept of my project is clearly explained in the attached video.
I have not taken separate pictures to add. The fabrication was recorded live.
So, Please watch the video which is self explanatory on this project.
