Locate a Doorway
Find a doorway with a wooden frame. I was lucky enough to have a wooden door frame for my bedroom door. Make sure to test that you can stick thumbtacks into the door frame. Be sure there is some resistance when the thumbtacks are stuck in.
Hang'em High!
Hang your blanket by two of its corners with thumbtacks in the doorway. Make sure the longest part of the blanket is hanging down.
Throw It!
Make sure no one will be coming into the doorway for sometime. Also make sure the thumbtacks are in good. Take a good throw and propel the ball into the blanket.
Be Safe
Please be safe with this. I don't want anyone to be injured by the thumbtacks not being put in deep enough or the person not knowing you are throwing the ball when they walk in.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY HARM OR DAMAGES THAT COME ABOUT BY THE USAGE OF THIS DEVICE.
I have only tested this with me throwing a tennis ball and I probably can't throw more than 40 miles per hour. So if you are looking for a more durable and stronger variation of this device, I would suggest using an often vacant and rarely used doorway and replacing the thumbtacks with heavy-duty nails and replacing the fleece blanket with a moving blanket.
