I have printed a vase with orange filament to make it more pleasing during the usage.

You can go with a color of your choice, lighter colors are better.

Choose a design of your own, i have went with the bowl shaped shade for my work.

Check for Errors

Remember, Vase prints are not water proof at all times. You should be paying more attention if you intend to use it outside or in areas where water can spill.

Make sure the print came out perfectly. Once its done, move on to the next step.

Putting a Lamp

You can use this lamp shade with any LED light of your choice.

Make sure you have enough ventilation if you are using a high intensity LED else you will end up melting the vase you printed.

Try to use LED that operates in low voltages if you have children who can have access to the light.

In my project i have went with a small 5V battery powered LED light which is being used as Indoor light and night lamp since my light supports dimming.

It is quite powerful to light-up an entire room.

On Full Brightness

This is how it looks with full brightness.

It consumes very less energy and am happy with the result.

Happy lighting, happy printing.
