Okay, today i'm gonna show you how to make a good looking In Case of Zombies frame. We will start with a look on the material to use :

  • Guns (fake...or real? :P)
  • Ammo
  • Wood
  • Sticky paper to print on
  • a printer

Choosing Your Accessories

First you need to choose what type of guns you will want in your frame. I didn't have any toy gun so I search on the internet and the best website I found was dealextreme.com. The website offers very cheap toy or airsoft gun. Personnally, I liked the Submachine gun (15$) and the pistol (8$). For the ammo, I didn't find anything convincing so I found on ebay a cheap "Ammo lighter" for 5$.

Choose Your Frame

According to your accessories size you can choose a 2D frame at any stores like Walmart. With that you will have the front design and the glass.

Make Your Own 3D Frame

I'm sorry for the lack of photos here. But what you need to do is: cut 4 pieces of wood that fits the height and width of the frame previously purchased. You will now have a square. Then, you take a tick board of wood (or other solid material) and cut it according to the dimensions of the previously made square.

Attach Your Accessories

To attach my guns and my ammo I took some fishing line, I drilled a hole in the back board and I tied the gun in the back. I put gray tape to "solidify" the node.

To hang it on my wall I took nylon rod.

Attach the 2D Frame

It is possible that we want to change the items inside our frame, so I used a hinge to attach my 2D frame to my "3D square". It is on top so it will not be visible

Printing Your Warning

In Microsoft Word, I chose a font that I liked. I wrote, In case of zombies break glass, on a red background and then I printed it on my sticky paper. I applied it on

An easy DIY project for everyone for cheap. You can put any guns and ammo you want. Hope you enjoyed it, any comment is welcome.
