Impossible Square Puzzle

This is one of the best famous puzzle I know

I always use to challenge my friends to solve ,

its very simple to make all we need is a piece of cardboard

it takes hardly 10minutes to make one

lets get started!!!

1. cardboard
2. scissors
3. scale
4. marker or pencil

draw the square shape on the card board piece and cut it out as shown in the figure

now we need to do the lines on the square which are the pieces that we cut later

note: the length of the smaller square in the picture marked as S on top left should be equal to the other corner edge which is marked as S

now cut out the 5 pieces as shown on the image

we are done with the puzzle set lets see how to engage with it ....

Start by giving the four pieces to your friend and ask to make a square shape out of them though they may take some time eventually able to do it as shown in the image

Now comes the best part give the small square piece to them and ask to add this small square piece and complete the square which is the toughest and challenging part try to give some hints in doing it if they are not able to do it then solve it as shown in the image
