This started out as a project to 3d scan a pumpkin made out of clay, then it morphed into an illuminated ring.

First, I made a jack o lantern and scanned it.

Next, I printed the pumpkin, then made a ring in 123D and printed that.

To create a hole for the LED, it was necessary to cut the pumpkin in two pieces and scan them separately.

I combined the pumpkin front, pumpkin rear and ring (stl files) in Tinkercad--to create one file for the ring.

Last, I added a 2032 battery and a white led, just bending the led legs enables contact with the battery and prevents the battery from sliding out.
