We made an igloo because igloo's are a practical invention used to keep you warm in the cold.

Supplies

We used Styrofoam, paint, box cutter, sandpaper, and hot glue to create our igloo.

Glue

Cut 17 pieces of Styrofoam, all the same size, or if you want make them a bit smaller as you get to the top, then hot glue them all together.

Next, cut them into a half circle using a box knife, and cut notches to make the stacking effect. You can use the sandpaper to round the corners.

Tunel

Then glue a rounded piece to the front to make the tunnel entrance, you can just bend the Styrofoam and glue it to the base to create the round effect. Follow with the same notching process to make it look like the rest of the igloo, like you did in step 2.

Paint

Next, paint the outside of the Igloo. We used blue and white paint to make a snow effect. You can use a foam sponge to make a speckled effect.
