Ice Shoes
These are attachments for shoes for winter that help you keep your grip on ice and snow.
Supplies
- Wood block (We used 12 x 6 x 3/4 inch)
- Some kind of string or a small rope.
Now that you have your block, set your table saw blade height to a little less than 3/8 inch. Then begin to make a grid pattern on one side of the block. With our block, we made a 5x12 grid pattern with each block close to 1x1 inch with a total of 60 squares. Depending on the size of your block, you may have a different amount of blocks.
Now you can screw in your string or rope on both sides to keep your shoe in. We used a disposable plastic saw blade guard.
