I wanted to make something unical for fidget spinner design contest. I don't want to design another fidget spinner with a different detail. I decided to print a mould out of a flexible filament to make an ice fidget spinner. Why an ice fidget spinner? Because I wanted to make something different. I also thought about ecological design. As I learned in product design class on instructable we should make things that wouldn't affect our environment. And this spinner is 100% ecological after it melts there is just a pure water. Before I made the final model I made the 2 different versions. The first one is a big black mold made with PLA, It was impossible to take out the spinner out of it so I decided to try with flex. The first version of flex mold has a filled center of it and it was so hard to tak out the mold (but it was possible) that I decided to make the third version without the filled center. Last one works great and it is now easy to take out your spinner out of it. I hope you like my design! Thanks for reading have a nice day :)
