IR SENSOR HAND WASH

This project is an Automatic IR sensor Hand Wash for COVID-19
This hand wash is useful for preventing COVID-19 from spreading through your hands

Even though this idea is common I actually thought about it before the Coronavirus pandemic, so I will take this idea as my original.

This is my first ever Instructable so please ignore any errors that may have occurred.

So let's begin making the project:

THINGS NEEDED:

1. So, we first need an empty bottle for the storing the hand wash

2. One IR(infrared) sensor...

3. An Arduino Board

4. A mini DC Water Pump

5. L289N Motor Driver (for the pump)

WIRE CONNECTIONS:

1. Connect GND in the IR sensor to GND in the Arduino Board

2. Connect 5V in the Sensor to 5V in the Arduino

3. Connect OUT in the sensor to the digital pin (10) in the Arduino board

4. Connect Servo 5v ( RED) to pin 3.3v in the Arduino board

5. Connect servo GND (BROWN) to GND in the Arduino board

6. Connect Servo Out (ORANGE) to digital pin 9 in the Arduino board

AND YOU ARE DONE (☞ﾟヮﾟ)☞ (with the connections)

To make the microcontroller work you need to upload a code in it.

Here are the steps:

1. Download the Arduino IDE https://www.arduino.cc/en/main/software

2. Drivers will be automatically installed with the software.

3. Open the Arduino code in this link: (copy it if it is not working)

4. Select Com Port. Upload the code (click the arrow➡ on the top right )

AND YOU ARE DONE (＾Ｕ＾) with the code !

NOTE: You will get error messages if you do not select COM port. Incase your Arduino Board is not getting recognized you can click on this link: https://support.arduino.cc/hc/en-us

Now that you've tested it and it's working, you just need to put it together.
