We are from Back of The Yards College Prep HS and for our design, we decide on something simple but also something that isn't really in our neighborhood or something that really isn't popular around here. Our team has decided to create a tattoo shop in auto desk and create a physical model.

The first step for our Modular Student Design Challenge was to pick what we wanted to create. We set a list of options for every student to pick from then, we voted. The majority of the votes went with the tattoo shop. Like, mention before we wanted to make something unique. We assigned roles to each person and grouped them up. Each team was assigned and was focused on one specific thing.

Drafters- Created 3 dimensional image using Autodesk software and collaborated with the engineering team and the architects to create the sketch.

Architects- Making the Prototype and created the original design.

Engineers - Making the electronics into and out of the building to make it look like its functioning.

Interior Designers- Color Schemes and adding textures to make the business more inviting to customers.

Marketing- Take pictures and Document steps we took to when creating our design.

Our next step for our Modular Challenge is making a layout for our design. We made Three layouts. We made an inside, top ,and the window side. For the inside we made windows, a sink, and the tables where the people get there tattoos. Our top layout we have solar panels and a window on top. For our last layout we have our windows sight that look like two squares combined.

When creating our design, we focused on making the outside nice and welcoming. We focused on making a couple of designs on the outside. Our team made the shop out of a container and added on to it. The shipping container is going to be our walls/ barrier for the shop.

The engineering started by making the windows and the door. At the top of the shop we have tiny crystals on the side of our tattoo shop name. Our Engineering and Drafter team also made solar panels on top and a window as the roof. This will power our shop. This is our source of electricity.

We've made a bed bench to sit outside if it was crowded inside. Our engineering also made a portable bathroom next to our shop. and some plants to make it look nice.

For this step, our teams gathered to discuss how our shop will be powered and what colors our design should be. We came to a conclusion that our shop is going to be powered by solar panels on top of our shop and our wall color is to be a bright red. We also decided to make a source of water to make our design look nicer.

The inside of the shop has some designs to it. The architects and Drafters made a sink, two seats a table. These seats are going to be used when the customers are getting there tattoos.
