3D Print, Mold and Phone Holder

This project will be about 3D impresion.

I gonna teach you how make a frog mold and smartphone holder.

Draw a Main Sketch

Follow the measurements to be able to make the drawing of the plane with the tools: line, circles, mirror, etc.

Use Extrude

Use extrude tool to get the structure from the object, the size to use it depends of your own phone.

Insert Text

Insert text that you like Draw in to your object. In this case JEFF C.J.

Use Extrude Tool

Extrude tool will help you to add volume to your text. Size depends of how much big you want that text.

Use Filet Tool

As advice, use filet tool to make text edges round.

Save As 3d Print

Go to Fles then click on 3D print, Then uncheck: sent to 3D utility, save where you want on you pc.

Open the Object at Ultimaker Cura

When the object is already open, move it 90 degress like image atachet.

Configurate

Then Configurate 3d print options:

Quality: 0.2 mm ( this makes print faster or slower depends ofthe value).

Walls: 3 (recomended) Wall line Count

Top/Bottom:

* Top/Botton Thickness: 0.9mm

* Top layers: 3

* Botton Layers : 3

Infill: Always works with triangles Infill Pattern, Infill Density : 7% - 40%(More means more material and density of the object)

Material: Printing Temperature:200 , Build Plate Temperature: 60. These depends of the infill fabricant

Speed: All parameters ( 50 - 60 mm/S low speeds 61-70 high speeds)

Travel: Two Checkbox avalible

Cooling: Check avalible

Support: Just when whe have slope

Boild Plate Adhesion: Brim ( recomended )

Dual Extrusion: Depends of machine, this case 1.

3D Frog Mold

First insert a Canva on Fusion 360 about frog then draw with Line, Mirror , Circle tools.

Extrude Each Part

Follow your critery you gotta choose who parts of the frog will be bigger than others without loss armony.

On this example feets are smaller than other parts followed by legs and hands.

Offset Tool

When you finish all the extrudes next step is make outlines from de mold.

For this step u gotta use Offset tool then select upper external lines and insert thickness ( 2mm in this case ) then select external lines and extrude by two sides, botton until base and top until size that you want.

Ultimaker Cura

Save the mold like 3d print and then open UltimakerCura to edit print options.
