IKnife: a Pocket Knife Carved From Apple
Have you ever wanted to cut your apples up with an apple? Me neither, but I'm going to show/tell you how to anyways. I present to you the iKnife! It's a pocket knife, carved out of apples and stuck together with toothpicks. With that, I present the iKnife!
Supplies
Materials:
- two toothpicks
- an apple
Tools:
- a knife
- cutting board
Create the Handle
Cut a large piece off the apple, slightly less than half. Cut the edges off of that piece leaving a slice the length of the apple and a width of 3/4 of an inch. Turn that apple slice on its side and cut the rounded part off, making it strait on the edges. You now have the handle.
Cutting the Blade
Normal slice of apple, like the first image shown above. Then start slicing thin pieces off of that piece until you have a slice like the one you started with, but has a width of less than 1 cm. You know have the blade of you knife, easy as that.
Putting It All Together
First, sandwich the blade between the two handles. After that you impale the handle with toothpicks, one of the tooth picks should also impale the blade, but the other should be placed through the handle after the blade ends. Finally, after impaling the apples, cut the excess of the toothpick off, like in the 3rd photo.
Cut Some Apple With Some Apple, Then Eat Both Apples.
There you have it, your very own iKnife. So grab yourself another apple and wip your knife out of you pocket and cut that apple, with that apple. Then eat them both, because apple will turn brown, and then it's gross.
