I just got new ikea furniture and one piece is a SELJE nightstand. I keep things like my phone, wallet, keys, ipad, and charging cables on it. But cables are hard to keep on a nightstand, you either have to drape them all the way across or they slide on the floor. So that's why we're going to hack it!

For this hack your going to need:
•cables you want to be held up
•magnets that fit on the cable head
•hot glue gun

Fit Magnets on Cable Head

To make sure the magnets don't interfere with charging, plug the cable into your device and arrange the magnet where you will glue it to the cable head.
Glue Magnets

Now, wherever the magnets fit on the cable head, use a small amount of hot glue to glue them on the cable heads. After the glue has dried, give it a test!
Enjoy!

You now have a way to discretely store the cables so that you can use them and they are not falling on the floor or tangling. They are out of the way and actually look pretty good. Enjoy!
