Hydrating Avocado Face Mask.
Do not feel like wasting money on store bought face masks, why not make your own face mask from your home supplies.
There are some easy steps to get a hydrated and healthy skin.
NOTE: Please follow all the steps carefully and have a great time.
Supplies
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/3 cup of plain yogurt
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- Optional: 2 tbsp Rolled oats.
Avocado
Avocado-Avocado is packed with healthy fats, and when applied to the skin, the natural oils nourish and hydrate your skin. They are also packed with antioxidants and vitamins that can help with redness and inflamation.
Honey
Honey can help with a variety of skin concerns including acne, eczema and psoriasis. It can also help with healing and inflammation.
Plain Yogurt
Plain yogurt- Yogurt's creamy texture can help to lock in moisture and potentially brighten your skin. Some research suggests that it can help even out skin tone.
Lemon Juice
Lemon Juice- Lemons are filled with Vitamin c which is an antioxidant and a brightening agent. It helps to give the skin a flawless glow and it also helps to prevent the avocados from browning!
Optional-Rolled Oats
Rolled oats-If you want to boost the effectiveness of this mask, add in oatmeal! Its anti-inflammatory properties can help to soothe and treat the skin.
How to Make the Avocado Face Mask
When making this mask, simply add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Wash your face with a cleanser, and dry and then apply mask liberally to face and neck. Let sit for about 20 minutes before washing the mask off.

Pro tip: I like to stick my mask in the fridge for a few minutes before applying it. The cool temperature can help to reduce pores and ease fine lines and wrinkles.
