Hunting the Summer Salad

I am a Chef have not posted one Instructable about food. so here is one for all to enjoy It's summer and the perfect time for a cool crisp salad . For this recipe I will take you on a wild adventure to where the food comes from :) But First I will tell you the Recipe and if your not faint of heartthen follow my adventure to the source products of this The Summer Salad.

Summer Salad

Romaine lettuce 1/3 head

Iceberg lettuce 1/3 head

Strawberries 4 0r 6

Blueberries 20-30

Blue Cheese 2-3 ounces

Chicken 1 5-8 once breast grilled

Raspberry Vinaigrette as much as you like but don't drown it best with 3 onces

Sliced Almonds just a pinch

Iceberg lettuce come form well the side of an iceberg and there are no icebergs near me so I wont be traveling to the location to show the hunting techniques. Romaine lettuce is grown in Rome and well it is far to dangerous to go there will all the popes and cardinals that inhabit that region far to scary and close-minded so I will not go there either. Ok so I told you this would be wild actually both lettuces originated in Egypt and most are grown in Canada ,lettuce grows best in cooler climates (it's gona get worse so turn back if you are closed minded and don't like to have a little fun then run away. )

Strawberries are a world dominating female plant that wears its ovaries on its shirt sleaves .Really strawberries have seeds on the outside they also send out runners to reproduce. Extremely prolific they can be found most everywhere you can even run them over with a lawnmower and they still survive .Approach strawberries with caution . Keep a blaster trained on them at all times and be sure to only take the adult ripe strawberries or they will take to the streets to retrieve there young .Vengeful Strawberries will leave there mark on baby's when their young is taken in the form of a birth mark .Strawberries as we know them were breed in Brittany ,France in the late 1700's combining berries from north American and France. They do however grow wild most every were in the Americas and Europe. Most are grown on the coasts of North and South America .

Food just isn't blue. Most of the time, if food is blue it has been sitting around way too long . The blueberry is a plant that grows where rainbows land or they are leftovers from a alien race you choose.Blueberries are native of North America and has been growing there for a long time favorite food of bears.

Blue cheese comes form a rare endangered plant that grows under dead trees in North America. Be very carful harvesting blue cheese as it sends out ear shattering screams when picked . It has to dry under the full moon for it to gain the best flavor. Blue chees originated in Europe and is moldy cheese that is riddled with bacteria the same as foot odor yet is delicious

ALL BOLD Chickens are far distant cousins of theropod dinosaurs and if you have ever keep them free range and watched them carefully you can see the relationship . Chickens for the most part are gentle omnivores and prefer bugs and seed over corn . There is no Danger hunting a chicken but Roosters will tear you apart they can be very territorial and can cause serious wounds. It is best to pick them up gently and pet them put them down and go to the store and buy chicken breast .
