This is how to repair broken parts so they become stable and durable. The best is to watch the video:

On my Homepage you can see more about the project: https://bechele.de/?p=693
Supplies
Glass sand with a particle size of 0.05 to 0.5 mm.
You may make your own glass sand from a bottle using a mortar, but it is easier to buy glass sand that is used for sand blasting. Keep in mind, that normal sand does not work well, because glass is alkaline and that causes super glue to cure very fast. Normal quartz sand does not support curing.
Steps to Perform
- Make sure your broken parts are free of dust, dirt and grease.
- Put a little super glue on the damaged or broken area.
- Scatter glass sand onto the glue - it will cure very quickly.
- Put more glue onto the first layer.
- Again scatter glass sand onto the area.
- Repeat this until your desired layer thickness has reached.
- Eventually support curing by applying activator.
- Wait until the glue gas fully cured.
- If necessary post process the part mechanically by filing, sanding or gut off excessive glue/glass.
