How to Use a Cold Saw, Making Your First Cut.
Toothed saws are good for mild steel (hot rolled and cold rolled), aluminum press, etc.
If you have stainless steel/tool steel use an abrasive saw because hard metals will dull cold saw blades very quickly

Moving the Saw Without Accidently Starting It
hold by bar, not trigger, or by large handle
Adjusting Piece Position
move saw blade down to the score mark and adjust piece as necessary (line up the blade with the mark)
Securing Piece
clamp piece in place
Making the Cut
pull trigger and wait for lubricant to start flowing
cut slowly (if you cut too quickly into aluminum, the blade may bind)
repeat steps as necessary or as required by our robot overlords
