How to Turn a Video Into a Sound for IMovie

This DIY is used to help a person take a video from Youtube or other and place it into iMovie. WARNING: YOU MAY REQUIRE ITUNES IF IT IS A DIFFERENT VERSION. ALSO, YOU WILL HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE VIDEO'S SOUND, BUT YOU CAN DELETE IT AFTERWARDS. This contains 3 easy steps, and it should not be difficult to understand. I dumbed it down for beginners in iMovie.

Step 1: From the Top, Add All of Your Tabs

Step one is that you have to be on iMovie. It does not matter which one, just iMovie from Apple products or more so for Mac. Once you get there, drag the page to the side and open Safari. Then, go to https://www.youtube.com/. Proceed to find the video you need to use for your sound. Then, copy the link to the video you are on. Afterwards, add a tab, and go to http://www.vidtomp3.com/.

Step 2: Get to Work

After you get to your site, scroll down until you see a black folder with a music note in a circle in front of it. Next to the picture, there should be a box. Paste the ULR of the video in the box and click 'enter'. This will take a minute. Click the link that says 'click here to get, your Download Link'. Then, a box should pop up the says your download is ready. Click' start download' then click 'run'. Allow this download to make changes to your computer. Then, after download, send to desktop. Exit out of Safari.

Step 3: Dialing Down... Final Step

Finally, after all of this, drag and drop the sound into iMovie. If necessary, send to iTunes, then import it to iMovie. Now, you have a sound for your movie. I hope this was helpful.
