How to Remove the Copper Layer of a Penny

things you need
penny
sulfur
calcium hydroxide 
water
dish soap
beaker
ceramic cooktop cleaner

first mix the sulfur and calcium hydroxide in the beaker then add water. Mix the sulfur and calcium hydroxide the sulfur should float to the top, so add 2 drops of dish soap and mix.

now heat the beaker and bring the mixture to a boil, when it start to boil put a penny in the beaker and leave it for about 30min. after 30min take the penny out and clean it with ceramic cooktop cleaner. (the penny should be black when you take it out because the copper had become very oxidized)
