A clean carburetor improves the performance of your engine. This instructable will show you how to take it apart and clean it.

The screws are visible on the face of the carburetor. Take them out completely and gently separate the body. Take care to avoid damaging the gasket.

There are many carburetor cleaning products out there. They come in spray form or in a bucket. You can soak your carburetor in the wash if it's really grimy or just give it a thorough spray until you observe it to be shiny and clean.

Reassemble

Make sure to put all the screws and pins in the same places they came out of. ????What the hell is that arm for??? Update: It's for the electric choke!

Replace all the screws and remember to reattach the throttle with the pin.
