1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup granulated white sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper (crushed)

The bulk:
8 cups chopped cabbage (about a head)
1/4 cup shredded carrot (about a medium carrot)

Mix together all of the components in the liquid mix, you may do this in a deepest smaller bowl with a whisk (so that you only have to pour it over the bulk, making it easier to mix together since it's not all at the bottom).

As you may have seen I'm just using two 14 oz bags of coleslaw mix instead of chopping the cabbage and carrot, if you are going to do this then keep in mind that one bag (14oz) will be sufficient (two would require double the liquid mix).
Anyway once you've cut the bulk up, put it in the big bowl and mix in the liquid mix very well. After that pop it in the fridge for a little over 2 hours and enjoy.
