How to Make a Metal Pen
In this Instructable we're going to be building a metal pen.
The pen encloses a standard BiC pen cartridge.
Materials
- 6 inches of 3/8 aluminium stock
- 3 inches of 3/8 brass stock
- 1/4 -20 Tap and Die
- 5/16-18 Tap and Die
- Cutting Oil
- Access to Lathe
- Polishing Paper
- BiC Pen Cartridge
Machine the Pieces
Machine the Pieces!
Polish the Pieces
Spin your pieces in a lathe or drill press.
Polish them using some fine polishing paper.
Assemble Your Pen and Test It Out!
Congratulations! You have successfully made a metal pen.
