How to Make a Fortune Teller

How to make a fortune teller

Material needed:

1. Colored pencils
2. Paper
3.Scissors

Cut a normal rectangular sheet of paper into a square piece, the square does not need to be perfect.

Fold the square piece diagonally.

Unfold the paper and draw a dotted line horizontally in the middle of the paper, lay the piece of paper flat and fold the four corners into the middle, using the dotted line as a guide.

Flip the paper over and draw a dotted line horizontally.

Using the dotted line as a guide, fold the four corners into the center

Divide the square into 8 triangles, label each triangel with numbers 1-8. uderneath each flap write a fortune

Fold the paper in half hamburger style

Place your fingers under each flap

Press the center of the square with your chin to create a pyramid shape.

Label each flap with a different color using, crayon, marker, or anything you you desire.

Your fortune teller is now complete. you can begin telling fortunes by asking a partner to pick a color. Open the fortune teller in alternating directions while spelling the color. after spelling the color, ask the partner to pick a number being shown by the open fortune teller and then open the fortune teller in alternating directions for the number of times picked by the partner. Have the partner pick another number shown by the open fortune teller. Read the fortune under that number.
