How to Make a Figure Eight Knot

This knot is ideal for stringing lacrosse heads and is a fantastic end knot.

Beginning.

Straighten the length of rope you wish to tie.

Fold end of chord over to form the letter "U."

Twist the ends of the "U."

Twist the ends of the "U" once more.

Twist the ends of the "U" a third time.

Pull the end of the "U" through the hole that has been made from the three twists.

Pull tight with out allowing the end to slip backwards through the hole.
