How to Make a Crochet Scarf

Hi everyone! I made this instructable because I like to crochet. Hope you enjoy!

First you are going to need your hook and a ball of yarn.

Choose your yarn first! It's hard to find yarn after you have a crochet hook.

Choose the hook that fits the yarn.

This is one of the most important steps. Abreveations. Read it carefully.

sc = single crochet

dc = double crochet

hdc = half double crochet

st = slip stich

ch = chain

* to * = repeat from * to *

Let's get started!

Make a slip knot. Ch 16, turn. Sc in 2nd loop from hook; repeat across, ch 2, turn. Hdc in 3rd loop from hook; repeat across.

Now you have a row of chains, sc and hdc. You can choose the next 30 rows to be sc, hdc or dc. You can alternate if you like.
