This is a DIY that is super easy and affordable for any broke college kid. You only need a few things, a book, scissors, a paper bag, and a pen

Step 1 : Cutting the Bag

So for step one you want to cut the bag on the short side where the bag folds to compact (see first pic. in sequence).

Then you want to do the same to the other side. The next set of cuts stem off the first set on the very small fold. (seen in the second pic.)

2. Fold

Place the book on the middle of the bag after you lay it out flat( folds facing up). Then fold over the front cover.

3. More Folding

Now you want to do the more detail folds. So picture the bag as a sleeve and place the thin cover into the slot made by the bag fold. This is automatically made when you cut it from the previous steps. This step may be a tad tricky but can be done with patience and just really seeing how the parts fit.

4. Cutting and Folding Again!

Now after getting your front cover done you will have to do the back, so keep the book closed once front is done and gauge out how much bag you will need left. You should only use like an inch and a half or so beyond its current reach. Then cut it again getting rid of the excess bag pieces. Then repeat the folds from the earlier steps.

5. Label Away

Label the book as much detail as you want,to stay organized of course.

Enjoy Your Newly Covered Book.

Now your book shall be safe from the outdoors to an extent and you don't have to worry about damage to your book for when you have to return it (if you rented like myself). Well i hoped this help good luck to all!
