How to Make a Cheap Chess Board

Materials

You will need
If it has a * it is required.
*Tape
*Marker
Second Marker
Napkin
*Water Bottle Wrapers
*Computer
Cereal Box

Making the Board

Take the wrapper and the marker. Draw some lines on the white part of the wrapper. Place some tape on the top of the wrapper. (I used double stick tape so if you have one sided tape lay the wrapper on the tape). If you have another wrapper draw on it and place it on the tape you put on the other wrapper. Keep repeating till you have a 8-length wrapper board. P.S. Make sure you have eight spaces on each wrapper. P.P.S. When I took these pictures I was nearly finished.

Covering Tape (Optional)

If you used double stick tape take some napking and cover up the tape on the back and on the front if nessacary.

Filling in the Spaces

Take the same marker and fill in the space to look like a real chess board. Make sure H1 is a white space.

Marking the Spaces (Optional)

Take a different marker and mark it with A1, H1, A2, H2 and so on. Sorry my hand is in the way.

Making the Pieces

You may print out the picture provided above. Sort them by size. Cut the biggest one out of each 2. Place each cut 1 one an uncut 1.

Have a Chess Box (Optional)

Place your pieces and Board in a Cereal box and write Chess Box do not throw away on the box.
