How to Make a Twin Bed - Part I the Frame

It came time for my daughter to move out of her "small" bed into a big girl bed. My wife and I started looking for a bed in the big department store and couldn't find one that we liked, or they were to expensive. Then I thought to myself, why don’t I just make her a bed. So we started looking a designed that we like, pieces an idea together, and I started building.

The bed I am making will fit a standard size twin mattress. This video is part 1 of 3 in the bed making process. This video will show you how to make the fame on which the mattress will sit on. Overall the frame was pretty straight forward. The biggest challenge was to keep the frame square thought out the building process.
