How to Make a PVC Wakizashi

Hi guys today I will show you how to make a PVC wakizashi. A wakizashi is a short katana and if you want to make katana just make it a little longer. So let's get started.

Stuff You Need.

1. One two foot section of 1/2 inch PVC.

2. A heat gun.

3. Two flat objects like 2x4.

4. Pot holders if you want.

5. A hacksaw.

6. And finally some tinfoil. Optional silver spray paint, black electrical tape and a 1/2" PVC cap.

The Blade.

Take the PVC cut it to two feet and mark it at seven inches from the bottom that will be the handle. Heat your PVC over tinfoil and make sure the foil is as long as the blade. Make sure not to keep the heat gun in the same spot to long otherwise it will burn the blade. Heat evenly until it like a pool noodle. Then, put the blade between your two flat objects and squish it and make sure your handle is sticking out. Well flatting bend the blade a little so it curves. Another option is to use vice like this. After the blade has been flattened, use a hacksaw to cut the tip.

Painting and Finishing.
