How to Make a DIY Handbag Out of a Scarf

At Scarf World, we have have put together a really simple DIY scarf handbag hack. This is a six steps how to easily use a spare scarf at home. The major benefits of a scarf bag is it very light, strong, and easy to make for a day at the beach, untie it to shelter from the sun then retie it to take things back home.

Take a look through these simple steps and before you know it you will have hacked your first scarf hand bag.

Lay your fashion scarf out flat and then fold it in half to make a square shape.

Tie a overhand knot (watch this video guide) roughly a hands length on the two opposite corners of the square

Take one of the remaining corners and knot it under of of the existing knots. Repeat the same with the other corner.

Untie the first two knots which you have made in step 2 and adjust the length of the handles to your preference.

Join the two ends together to create the handbag’s handles.
