Here is a list of what you will need to make this wallet - it's super easy and so much fun.
- 8 track
- hot glue gun
- fabric
- pliers
- long zipper

I've seen many how-to's to make a cassette wallet however I wanted to make mine 70's style

Step 2

Get all that you will need to make your wallet

Step 3

WIth your pliers - open up the 8 track and remove the music ribbon. If you can use the pliers to pull off gently some of the bulky plastic from the inside that would be great too.

Take 1 side of the 8 track and trace on some fabric. This will be the lining once the zipper is glued on.

Step 3

Glue in the zipper with your trusty hot glue gun - don't burn yourself. Glue the zipper to each side carefully.

Step 4

WIth the fabric - line the inside of your new 8 track wallet. I again used my glue gun for this step.

Then you are all done - add some loose change, lipstick, a stick of gum and you are on your way.

Enjoy -
