How to Your Start Your Snowmobile

In this Instructable, I will be showing what to do before starting a snowmobile. I will also show you what most things look like under the hood of your snowmobile that you need to fill or look at before starting your snowmobile. You will also learn how to start your snowmobile easily.

You want to get your snowmobile ready to ride: Take your cover off or wheel it to a door on your dollies to a door.

Take the rear dolly off from under your snowmobile (If you have dollies)

(Circle check) Make sure you have enough gas. Look at your gas gauge and to check if your 2 stroke oil is full or close to full look under the hood.

Make sure hood is latched after finished.

Insert your key and turn it to the “on” position.

Pull kill switch up “in the up position” Otherwise will not start. (RED switch on right side of handlebars)

When starting for the first time in a while, use full choke. (Different on every sled)

Pull 3x then flip choke off for 3 pulls. (Use caution! make sure not to flood the engine) If it’s cold and your snowmobile won’t start pump the throttle (If it has a primer, prime it once or twice)

Flip the choke off once started (if it’s not already off).

Once sled is started,let it warm up. Just let it idle for a few minutes before leaving on your ride.
