I'm creating this instructable for my little brother so he knows how to wash my dog Jet anytime I'm not available to do so, hopfully this instrucable can help anyone else looking to clean their pet!

Supplies

-Running water (preferably warm if possible)

-Shampoo

-peanut butter

-multiple medium/ large towles

Prepping the Dog and Tub

In his own experience, Jet is not willing to get in the bathtub because he knows he doesnt like bathes. In these cases, gently smear peanut butter along the walls of the bathtub in small strokes no more than two feet above the tub floor and speak in an excited tone to encourage your pet to hop into the tub.

Rise, Wash, Repeat

Once the dog is in the tub and fully pre-occupied by the peanut butter you may now begin to rinse the dog off using warm water and the shower head. Be sure to avoid getting water in the dogs ear as well as being sure to rise off their chest, under and, behindside while continuning to speak to the dog in a calming tone.

At this point youre ready to lather the dog in shampoo and rinse again. If you see any dirt still on the dog make sure to repeat this step until the water runs clear

Dry and Relax

Lay one of the towels on the floor after tunring the water off then using another towel, dry the dogs head, chest and, paws while theyre still in the tub. Once Jet hops out of the tub he begins to dry himself using the towel on the floor so let him do his own drying for about 5 mins before you continue with the other towel and continue to dry his head, chest and behind.

After the dog is mostly dry make sure to treat them and give them space to rest as bathtime is usually very tiring (for pets and owners!)
