If your pumpkin has a stem, grab a knife and get underneath the stem of the pumpkin and start prying the stem up. Without damaging the pumpkin.

Make sure all of the stem is removed from the pumpkin.

Wash the pumpkin and make sure the pumpkin is completely dry.

Painting the Canvas White or Black

Paint the entire canvas white or black [ except for the back of the canvas ]. And let it completely dry.

Place the pumpkin in the center of the canvas.

Pour gold or silver paint directly in the center of the pumpkin [ basically where the stem was ], and let it drip down the sides of the pumpkin.

Then add another color.

You can start forming a patern, I did silver, purple, pink, turquoise, blue, and I just used that patern until it started to look like a flower.

Once you have a circle that looks like a flower carefully remove the pumpkin from the canvas.

Optional Step

Take a thicker skewer and place the tip of it at the begining of one of the flower petals, and lightly drag it to the end of the petal. Wipe the end the skewer every time you put it in paint.

You can do this with every petal.

Complete!
