This time, I would like to talk about global USIM used in the IoT field.
Especially, I used it for Cat.M1 Devices(BG96 from Quectel).
If you use Global USIM, you can use your IoT devices anywhere in any country. The first time that I heard about the global USIM was to visit the IoT Expo in London.
There are two company that were Bics and IoT World Alliance.

In order to use a Bics USIM, you need to register and active on homepage.
You can access the homepage at https://simforthings.bics.com/#/login.
1. Click 'Register Your SIM Cards' in the middle.
2. Input the code that is on SIM.
3. When you register a USIM, you can check a status of USIM.
Also, you can send a SMS !! :)
Insert a Bics USIM Into Cat.M1 Module(Quectel BG96)

And I insert a bics USIM into Cat.M1 module(Quectel BG96) to test if it works.
In the London, I have confirmed that it works fine.
