How to Upcycle Bottles Into Birdfeeders

I wanted to show you how to make a birdfeeder out of old bottles, hope you like it!

You'll need:

Birdfeed

Plastic milk jug ( or a paper milk carton or plastic bottle )

Glue

Aluminum plate

String or wire

Scissors or knife

OPTIONAL:

Tinfoil ( if you don't have an aluminum plate, you can craft one with tinfoil)

Wire (for attaching the bottle to the foil or aluminum plate)

Or you can use a paper plate in place of the foil or aluminum plate, just don't let it get wet!

OR you can use a plastic container, like I did.

First, cut holes shaped like arches on all four sides of the bottle. This is so when you fill up the bottle with birdfeed, the holes will make the birdfeed come out onto the container, so the birds can eat it.

Then, poke holes in the bottom of the bottle and the container so you can attach the bottle and container together with the wire. Of course, if you have glue, just glue the bottle and container together. Then, poke two holes in the top of the bottle, and thread the string through so you can hang the birdfeeder.

Then, put the birdfeed into the container, you don't want to over fill it so the birdfeed comes out of the container. You also may have to use a funnel.
