How to Turn a Image Into a Finished Poduct

hello, my name is Will and I'm currently attending portage northern high school as a freshman. today I will be showing you how to convert a image to a 3d model in fusion 360.

Supplies

An image (preferably a simple one)

fusion 360 (it's free for students and educators)

Get Image Into Fusion 360

first, select create a new sketch and set it to whatever axis you want. then select the insert option and in the popup menu hit insert from my computer. then select the image and adjust the image settings to your desire.

Trace the Shape

now you'll want to trace the shape using the line and arc tools (make sure they're connected)

Make It 3d

hit finish sketch and use the extrude tool to make it 3d.

now head to render (it's in the top most left) then use the color option to decorate your model. finally hit render and set the settings to your liking. and you're done!
