In order to rotate on your toes and ball of foot, you will need a slick covering over your foot! A sock, turning shoe or slipper could work!

Prep and Plie

To begin your turn, you will need to start will your prep.

First, place your desired turning foot in front (I choose my left foot). This will be considered your supporting leg.

Next, place your other foot behind you and bend both legs in plie. This will be considered your turning leg.

Add Arms

Place opposite arm of your supporting leg straight in front of you. (My right arm since my left leg is my supporting leg)

Then, place your other arm straight out to the side of you.

Move Legs to First Position of the Turn.
