How to Tie a Three Part Crown

Welcome to my How to Knot tutorial, I will be showing you how to tie a three-part crown. The only applications for this loop is camping and general usage. It is a secure knot, typically used in general situations as a decorative knot to hang decorations or for camping to hang objects. Although if it has been exposed to a high tension situation, then it will be difficult to untie.

Double up the rope to create a bight.

Separate the original bite to create a pair of bights. Tuck the one bight under the doubled up rope. Pull the bight over. Then overlap the untouched bite through the loop. And finally tighten.
