Your arm

How to Start

Take the end of your rope and put it in between your index finger so that the tip is pointing up. Bring the other side of the rope under your index finger and over your thumb.

The Crisscross

Take the rope and put it over your arm twice at an angle. Bring the rope back over your rope twice more at an angle so that it makes two X's. Note: the tip of the rope should still be in between your fingers. The other end of the rope is whats making the X's

Bringing It Through

With the long end of the rope make it double back so that you have a loop on the end. Take that doubled rope and bring it right in between your thumb and index finger and through both of the X's. It should go through where the ropes cross on the X.

Finishing the Knot

Pull the rope off your arm and pull the short end and the loop tight. If done correctly, it will be in a loop and will be able to slide. This is great for snaring small game.
