How to Tie Two Half-hitches and a Taut-line Hitch.

These are good knots to learn before you go camping.

Put your rope around a pole

Then cross the rope

Then circle it back through the loop.

Come through and put it around the taut rope and pull it tight.

And now you have two half-hitches.
This is used hold down a pole.

This is a similar knot but a little different it starts the same.

You wrap it around again but this time do it twice
