How to Take Off Your Lawn Mower Blades and Sharpen Them.

Your grass looks rough after mowing; your blades might be dull. I will show you how to take off your lawn mower blades, sharpen them, clean the mower, and put the blades back on.

1. Impact drill
2. 15/16 bit
3. Work gloves
4. Safety goggles
5. Blade sharpener
6. A scraper or a brush to clean the deck
7. A way to safely prop the mower

The first thing that you will need to do is to put your mower into an area with a lot of space and then safely lift the mower deck then lock it in place

The second thing you will need to do is take off the more blades with an impact drill with a 15/16 bit.

The third thing that you will need to do is to put them on the blade sharpener and slowly go back and forth, making sure that you keep the blade flat

Use a scraper to scrape off all the grass that is stuck to the deck. This will make for better air flow and prevent rust

Put the blades back on the mower, and make sure you put them on the right way.
