How to Start a Creative Business

When I realized I couldn't find any bandanas at a reasonable price that I genuinely liked for my dog, I set out to design my own! Today I will teach you how to start a creative business with something you would like to sell!

You will need a couple things to get started:

• Canva Account
• Print on Demand Company
• Computer or Laptop
• A Creative Mind!

In order to design your products, you will need to create a Canva account. This website allows you to design using tools such as: templates, graphics, text and much more.

Print on Demand is a great idea for anyone looking to start a business. It allows you to design something you want to sell, upload your artwork, and they do the rest! The print on demand company will print and ship your product straight to your customers, which means you don't have to worry about inventory or materials to physically make your product.

The print on demand company I use is Printed Mint. I found that the products they offer best fit with what I wanted my finished designs to look like.

Once you have a tool to design your products, and a company to print your products, you will need somewhere to sell it.

I opened an Etsy shop to sell my bandanas, which integrates with my Print on Demand company. In order to do this you will need to:

• Find a name for your company
• Open your Etsy shop
• Link your shop to your Print on Demand Company
• List your products for consumers to purchase
