How to Solve 2x2 Rubik's Cube: So Easy a 3 Year Old Can Do It (Full Tutorial)
In this video tutorial and step by step instruction we will teach a simple Beginner Method to solve the 2x2 Rubik's Cube in just 3 Steps with only two algorithms.
Build the Bottom Layer (Full Video Tutorial)
Full Video Tutorial How To Solve Rubik's Cube 2x2, all 3 Steps.
Step 1)
Build the Bottom (White) Layer. Note this is not just the White Side (the Face) but the White Face and the side colors of the White Corner Pieces (the Layer).
Start with the White / Orange / Green Corner (or any White) and then put the other 3 White Corner pieces next to it making sure the side colors match (see video for simple slap method).

Yellows on Top (OLL) Orient Last Layer
Once you have the bottom Layer solved, there can only be 7 possible combinations or patterns of the Yellow stickers.
We will learn just one easy Algorithms forwards and backwards to solve all 7.
The more algorithms you know the faster you can solve the Rubik's Cube but to start with we will learn just one we call the "Little Fish" algorithm (R U R' U R U2 R') with solves the pattern we call "Little Fish" (or Sune).
This same algorithm performed backwards solves the pattern we call "Big Fish" (or anti-Sune).
Little Fish alg performed twice solves the pattern we call "Double Fish".
See time stamped video below on how to hold the Cube and perform the algorithm.
Fix Last Layer Corners (PLL) Permute Last Layer
Once we have all the Yellows facing up on the Top Layer we just need to fix the Corners by shuffling them until they match the side colors of the Bottom Layer.
To do that we only need to use one algorithm we will call "Bar" x R' U R' D2 R U' R' D2 R2 x'.
This "Bar" algorithm will need to be performed once or twice depending on the case.
