- A reason your not just using a normal drill like a normal human being
Find a Place That Needs a Screw
Look for a place that needs a screw.
This is normally a flat surface and there is something that the screw is supposed to hold behind it or where two boards are loose that you don't want to be loose.
Drill a Hole
If needed have someone else hold the boards so they line up how you want.
Get your drill and if needed replace whatever bit is in the drill with the drill bit you want to use.
Change Bit
Spin the drill's chuck (the "nose" of the drill) to loosen it and take out the drill bit and put in the screw bit and turn it the opposite way to tighten it.
Put Screw in Hole
Take your screw and put the the screw in the hole you made with the drill.
Make sure the screw is straight and not angled (like the right image).
Screw in Le Screw
Put the screw bit on the head of the screw and pull the trigger a little so that it starts screwing in, be careful to not pull the trigger too much because then it might go off the screw head. Go slowly with drilling it in and be careful to not strip the head(try to turn the screwdriver/bit when the screw isn't turning making the notches get stripped).
